The Restrooms category is the one that surprises people most, and the one nobody thinks to look for before travelling. How the Digital Map Works on Your Phone

After purchase you choose the start date of your trip. On that day you receive the link to the maps by email, and it opens straight in your phone's map application: from there the points stay available while you walk, showing your live position relative to the places we have marked.

To work, the link requires a Gmail address, because that is the account the maps are linked to. If you do not have one, it takes a few minutes to create for free. It is the only technical requirement, but it is binding: without a Gmail address the maps cannot be linked.

Our tip

Set the start date to the day you land in New York, not the day you buy. The 14 day validity runs from that date, so setting it early means burning map days while you are still at home.

Which Format to Choose
