The difference between the two Go City passes is simple. The Go City Explorer Pass is based on choice: you pay for a fixed number of attractions, from 2 to 7, and have 30 days to use them at your own pace. It’s ideal if you want to see some of the city’s iconic attractions without rushing.

The New York Pass All-Inclusive works differently: it is based on days. You activate the pass and visit as many attractions as you want during the consecutive days you choose, starting at $164 (approximately €144). It’s worth it if you plan to visit many attractions close together, even three or four per day.

What to Know Before Activating the Pass

Before booking, keep in mind a few practical details that can make a difference once you’re there.

• Validity: once activated at the first attraction, the pass is valid for 30 days; however, you have one year from the date of purchase to activate it.
• Empire State Building: must be reserved in advance, and with the pass it is not possible to choose a sunset time slot.
• Reservations: some attractions require you to set a date and time through the Go City app; it’s best not to leave them until the last day of your trip.
• Excluded attractions: the MET and SUMMIT One Vanderbilt are not included in the pass.
• Refunds: the pass is refundable only if it has not been used and has not expired; after activation, a penalty applies in case of non-use.
